  • SRM University's main campus is Kattankulathur (KTR) which is located in Kanchipuram, Tamil Nadu.
  • There are also other campuses located in Chennai (Ramapuram), Amravati, NCR.
  • KTR is the Main Campus, Which is of 250 acres, and Ramapuram campus is of 27 acres.

SRM UNIVERSITY Admission:

  • To join in SRM UNIVERSITY you have to give SRMJEEE Exam.
  • If you want to join Engineering means you have to give SRMJEEE (PCM).
  • If you want to join Medical Courses you have to give SRMJEEE (PCB).
  • SRM University offers many courses like Engineering, Medical, Arts and Science, Management, Courses, etc.,

SRMJEEE Exam Pattern:

  • Physics                  35 Questions 
  • Chemistry              35 Questions
  • Maths / Biology    35  Questions
Each Question Contains of Three Marks and no Negative Marking.

SRM UNIVERSITY  Tuition Fee Structure:

  • Tuition Fees for Engineering Course is 2.5 Lakh Rupees Per Annum. (Except Aerospace and Nano Technology).
  • 3.75 Lakh Rupees Per Annum for Aerospace and Nano Technology.

  • AC - 3 Sharing, AC with Wash Room, 210000 Rupees.
  • AC - 3 Sharing, AC without Wash Room, 180000 Rupees.
  • Non AC - 3 Sharing, Non AC without Wash Room, 99500 Rupees.

  • For Girls:
  • AC - 3 Sharing, AC with Wash Room, 210000 Rupees.
  • AC - 2 Sharing, AC with Wash Room, 290000 Rupees.
  • Non AC 3 Sharing, Non AC without Wash Room, 111500.

SRM UNIVERSITY Placements:

  • Placements are not mentioned in their official website, so i asked some of the students and they are saying Placements are worst.
  • They Force You to Apply for placements.
  • last year 470 Companies came for Campus Placements, and they given 5500 Job offers.
  • In which 430 Offers are Above 5 LPA.
  • Average Placements are 3 to 3.5 LPA.

PROS:

  • Big Campus of KTR.
  • Big Auditorium.
  • Fest of KTR.

CONS:

  • Not well Qualified Faculties in Both of the Campuses.
  • No  sports facilities in Ramapuram Campus.
  • Bad Mess Food in Both of the Campuses.
  • No Fest in Ramapuram Campus.
  • Irresponsible Management.
  • They force you to sit in Placements.
  • Examination Fee should be paid every semester.
  • High Tuition Fee and Hostel Fee.
  • Laundry Fee should be paid. 7000 rs. only 14 clothes are allowed.
  • Not well Lab facilities in Ramapuram.
  • Money Minded Managements.
  • No Wifi facilities in Campus.
  • Limited Hostel wifi. 4.00 P.M to 10.00 P.M.
  • You cannot issue Books From Libraries in Ramapuram Campus.
